Dogs
Tuna snacks
Ingredients:
1 can of tuna in its own juice
1/3 cup butter
4 cups flour
1 egg and some water
Preparation:
Mix the ingredients in a bowl and form small cookies from them.
Bake for 20-30 minutes at 250 degrees until the cookies start to turn brown.
Denture cleaning biscuits:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups wheat baking flour
2,8-3 oz. wheat germ (and other wheat germs in which the biscuits are rolled)
3/8 cup low-fat milk powder
1 cup chicken broth without salt
3 tbsp corn oil or safflower oil
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 392 degrees and oil the large tray. Mix whole wheat flour and baking flour, wheat germ, milk powder and salt, mix the stock and oil in a separate bowl; Mix the dry and liquid mixture well in thirds in a large bowl and knead the dough well on a floured work surface. The dough should stay soft. Remove pieces of dough, roll in wheat bran and place on the baking sheet with a little space and flatten with a fork. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the biscuits are through, then switch off the oven and let the biscuits harden in the oven for a few hours. The biscuits (approx. 20 pieces) are kept covered in the refrigerator.
Banana Bits
2 ¼ cups whole wheat flour
½ cup skim milk
1 egg
1/3 cup mashed banana
1 pinch vegetable broth without salt
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and knead on a floured work surface. Roll out the dough and cut out cookies. Bake at 300 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Cats
Turkey feast
Ingredients:
15 oz. cooked turkey meat (alternatively chicken meat)
1 large egg
3 tablespoons chicken broth or water
2 cups corn semolina
1 cup whole wheat flour or wheat baking flour
Preparation:
Cat cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup margarine
1 tsp molasses
1 oz. nutritional yeast flakes for cats
Preparation:
Cream the margarine and molasses, then stir in the flour by the spoonful, and finally mix in the yeast flakes.
Form the dough into a ball and let it rest in the refrigerator for 15min.
Then roll out the dough, cut out cookies in desired shape, and place on an oiled baking sheet.
Bake at 356 degrees for eight to ten minutes, let cool.
Fine fish sticks
Ingredients:
1 small can of tuna
6 tablespoons oat flakes
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
2 eggs
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients and knead into a dough. Form small sticks and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 356 degrees for about 30 minutes.
